This process is intuitive as well as rational. Intuition springs from a heart-felt sense of our common humanity and our connectedness with the natural world.
Design is a process of consciously creating the spaces in which we live, work and play. Whether we approach design through Western principles of aesthetics and environmental psychology or through the principles of feng shui, the Eastern art of placement, the purpose is to create environments which support the achievement of goals and dreams by mirroring our inner resources and direction.
At its best , this process leads to spaces that reconnect us with our place in the natural world, increase social connection, provide inspiration and rejuvenate the spirit.
